FairTrade Links
The Fairtrade Foundation was established in 1992 by CAFOD, Christian Aid, New Consumer, Oxfam, Traidcraft and the World Development Movement. These founding organisations were later joined by Britain's largest women's organisation, the Women's Institute.
After a period of successful campaigning the Isle of Wight was awarded Fairtrade Status on the 28th October 2005
People & Planet is the largest, student network in Britain campaigning:
- alleviate world poverty
- defend human rights
- protect the environment
With over 15 years experience within the vending industry we saw a growing demand for Fairtrade products in the retail sector, but a very slow uptake within the vending industry
HUG is undergoing rapid expansion. Britain's first Fair Trade certified jeans, made with gorgeous organic cotton has arrived
